Chaos.

War, pandemics, protests, inflation at 30-year highs, supply chain issues like we’ve never seen before, recession/stagflation fears.

Huge geo-political shifts.

(We just witnessed in real-time an end to the 40+ year reign of the petrodollar and the US dollar as a global reserve currency. This is more than just about oil and money. Major ramifications ahead for local and global economies).

What do you do when there is chaos all around you? (personal or collective)

What do you do when your world suddenly shifts?

What do you do when it storms?

You move to centre. To the eye of the storm.

From here, you can calmly observe the world spinning around you. You can let it go and let it all play out without losing your mind. You can be in it, but not of it.

When you do this, you can see the order behind the chaos (there always is).

You can now respond (if needed) vs. react. You can lead, vs. being led. You can be bold vs. being fearful. You can discern the truth vs. lies/disinformation/propaganda (which amps up during times of chaos).

How do you move to centre?

How do you move to the eye of the storm?

How do you transcend the chaos?

By acknowledging and facing your own inner chaos. Your own inner storms. They’re within us all. And they’re the only way through the outer chaos.

(Like most things I write about, it’s simple stuff. But not easy).

You don’t have to face it all at once. Just bit by bit. Day by day.

I used to dream about healing/fixing the world. But I learned this meant healing myself first.

Only when you have seen the order in your inner chaos, can you see it in the outer.

Wish you a wonderful and peaceful weekend,
-Amit

Simple, yet so profound! Reacting is easy, responding is much harder, but you're so right Amit - starts with first looking within :).
