Creativity in a Cup
You don’t get a tsunami in a cup. The same applies to Creativity.
Creativity is not neat. It will spill over. You can’t tame it.
Most people or companies try anyway. To comfortably contain it in a cup. This is why most are bereft of it. They can’t handle it or know what to do with it when it does show up. It’s too messy. Too different. Too risky.
But that’s not your concern. Let your creativity make waves. If it threatens others or the status quo, let it.
Your Creativity wants to take you on a journey. Let it.
It will lead you to good (great) places and the right (receptive) people.
It may want you to apply powerful, new ideas at your current job/business, or to a new endeavour. Be open, dive in and ignore the naysayers.
(Outer resistance/criticism is not a bad thing. Embrace the constructive - it’ll help you refine your ideas / plug your blind spots. Ignore the rest - it’s a test of your conviction).
You can’t sip Creativity out of a cup.
You either decide it’s not for you, ignore it and calmly carry on. Eventually, it’ll stop knocking on your door.
Or you invite it in (i.e. unleash it), hold on as best you can and enjoy the ride of your life. It will never abandon you.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
